Tanzania Limited (IPTL), have led to prolonged power blackouts in various parts of the country since last this week.

Issuing an official statement in parliament on Friday, Deputy Minister for Energy and Minerals Adam Malima said due to prolonged droughts in the country hydro-power generation units had either suspended or reduced power generation capacity.
