Large number of people on Wednesday protested at separate spots against the unscheduled and long hour’s loadshedding in the mega city where residents are facing acute shortage of drinking water and other problems due to non availability of electricity. Residents of Tower, Kharadar , Mitadar, Lasbela, Garden, Lyari, Johar Complex areas of the Karachi city Wednesday protested against the long loadshedding. The enraged protestors blocked the roads by burning tyres on the roads in their respective areas, thus halting every kind of traffic on the roads for several hours. The protestors complained that long hour loadshedding have made their life miserable, adding that they were facing shortage of drinking water and living in dark for several hours in the economic hub of the country.
