President Asif Ali Zardari has taken serious notice of suspension of gas supply the textile industry and constituted a committee to oversee gas load management of the SNGPL maintaining that any further gas loadshedding would be done with its approval.

Referring to the decision of the meeting, dated March 28, 2011, the President’s Secretariat has constituted a committee, comprising Syed Khurshid Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, MNA, Gohar Ejaz, Chairman APTMA and Anwar Saifullah, MPA, KPK, to oversee gas load management of the SNGPL.
